On7th May we planned to go for a trip which we wanted to be anonymus.somebody said the name of valparai.
valparai is a beautifull valley situated in coimabatore district of Tamil nadu.From pollachi we travelled through Aliyar dam.From there we started to climb the mountain.there are 42 hairpin bends to reach valparai (i wonder is there any more than that!?). and we will reach a place just like heaven. you will never find such a good climet either in OOTY or KODAIKANAL. the place is situated by mor than 15 tea estates. and ther is more than that tea factoies too.
Vallparai is not a big town or anything,any way you fill find pretty good loadges around. I think there is a 3 star hotel too. any way stying is not expencive at wall parai. it is only Rs 200 to1000 per day. there is a view point on 9 bend which you should not miss!. we where on night so the view of Aliyar dam from there simply fantastic.we got a reasonbly good lodge and slept untill we woke up in the early morning. Raju was bussy with camera capturing few early morning sight of the vally. also you can see the morning vallparai seens .(i will post few good photograps soon)
There are few good places to visit nearby,so we started driving. All roads leads between tea estates which is superb to see.Lot of tea estate labours (All are ladies ) was passing thrugh roads.
